STAYING AT HOME CAN BE A CHURCH BUILDING OPPORTUNITY
During this time when you congregation and friends are staying in their homes, consider providing them an opportunity to use some of that time reflecting together on the Gospel of Matthew.
- Since it is the focus of this year’s lectionary, it can prepare them for the worship experiences you are offering.
- You can set up groups who agree to study the lesson by a certain date and then gather by Zoom, Facetime, etc. to have a discussion.
- You can also have a large group discussion every month or so to help build the community in your church.
