WANTED: 50 GOOD ANTI-RACIST CLERGY
I am looking for 50 clergy who have the following qualifications:
- They believe God exists and through Christ is involved in reconciling the world to God’s self.
2. They think racism is a sin that contradicts the will of God.
3. They believe God is not defeated by sin and has a habit of working through imperfect faith communities to accomplish that purpose.
4. They want to help clergy of local churches develop a positive strategy to nurture their members faith while providing healing hope to a racially divided society.
AND
they are willing to commit to sharing in a four to six email exchanges with me that will:
- Review a strategy I’ve developed to provide an anti-racist strategy for local churches.
2. Help me refine that strategy to make it more effective.
3. And, if we are successful, will send it out to 5 to 10 clergy urging them to implement the strategy.
If you are willing to make that commitment, email me at steve@smccutchan.com
I know it is easy to put off responding to such requests, but I urge you, if this does interest you, to respond right away. You can always back out later, but I’d really like to build a team to explore this.
